Don't let the picture fool you, June 27, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Summer Infant Carter's Classic Comfort Wood Bassinet, Tan/Blue, 0-4 Months (Baby Product) I am returning this bassinet because it has a plastic toxic smell and it not sturdy at all. I aired out the bassinet for 5 days and the smell is till there. Also the tires that come with it are a joke. First time parents would probably purchase this product because of the looks, but it is a cheap product not suitable for any baby. Is there any good bassinet out there? Must of them have bad reviews. I will try the Kolcraft one and keep all of you posted.

I bought this for my daughter for her new baby. They have been using this for the past three weeks day and night and they love it.
It is easy to put together and not the usual bassinet. It is sturdy and useful for keeping baby near. It is a wonderful product.

It's very sturdy - which was my major concern with two dogs in our house. It fits perfectly in a little corner of our room, and our son slept in it every night for about three months until he moved to his crib. He hated his crib at first, so this bassinet was the perfect size for him to feel protected. He also really liked the heart beat noise maker that it comes with.
Also, Amazon was fabulous with this product! We ordered it and had it shipped over-night (because we couldn't take any more nights of the baby screaming in his crib). Not only did the product ship fast, but we got it the next day just as expected in great condition! Really was a life saver!!!
